Post: Illini Paintball Rec Game! April 25

WHAT: Recreational paintball outing with the Illini Paintball Club. This outing is open to anyone of any experience level. Club members will be helping out. All are invited, even if you've never played before! This is the field's "Big Game" and a large amount of players are expected, it should be a great time! Please try and arrange to drive or borrow a car as we will be car pooling.
WHEN: Saturday April 25th. We will leave by 8:00 AM from the lot (see below). Play starts at 9AM!
WHERE: We will meet in the parking lot on the corner of Lincoln and Oregon at 7:50 am and leave by 8:00 am. The event itself is at Sudden Impact in McLean, Illinois (about 45 minutes away, www.sipaintball.net). Directions will be emailed out later in a reminder email and printed out for you at the lot as well.
The field is outdoors and consists of both woods fields and inflatable fields, be sure to wear long sleeves and long pants. Hats and gloves of some sort are also suggested. Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and bring an extra set of clothes to change into so you don't get your driver's car dirty.
WHO: You and any of your friends, bring anyone you'd like!
PRICE: $30 gets field entry, all the rental equipment you will need, all day air fills, lunch (hotdog, pop, chips), a raffle ticket for prizes, and 500 paintballs (should last all day). Bring your own guns and gear if you'd like, but the price remains the same. Also consider bringing a (cont...) |

Hey everyone,
Just a reminder that the Rec Game is Saturday, September 20 at Sudden Impact. Be at the lot at the corner of Lincoln and Oregon by 8:20 am, we are leaving at 8:30! (**Please note that this is different than the original email so we can start playing at 10 am instead of 9 am)
Be sure to remember:
-money (and gas money for your driver)
***please bring cash or check, the field does not accept credit card
-long sleeves/pants and clothes to change into for the ride back (clothes that can get dirty)
-a hat and maybe some gloves
-If you have access to a vehicle PLEASE bring it, we will be tight on ride space so use all of your resources. Better safe than sorry. Everything should work out, so please don't be discouraged. If we have too many cars people can legally leave their cars at the lot all day on Saturday. If you are able to drive and have not told me yet, please do so before Saturday.
Here are directions (they will be printed out for you at the lot as well)
-74-W towards Bloomington
-Exit 134A toward St. Louis on I-55 S
-Exit 154 toward Shirley
-Turn Right at the exit at the stop sign
-Quick Left at the “T” at the next stop sign
-Turn Right at the Maple “Sirup” sign
-Turn left at the fork (first left), there should be signs for Sudden Impact
-SI will be on your right

Club members will be helping out and refereeing. All are invited, even if you've never played before! There a large amount of people expected to come, it should be a great time! Please try and arrange to drive or borrow a car as we will be car pooling.
