Tournament Play

How serious is the tournament play this year? In the past ive seen Illini at college level tournaments and heard about them, but the last couple of years i havent really heard of anything. Im really considering getting back into tournament play. Its been about a 4 year break but i want to get back in. I was only a small 5 man team back in southern illinois, we played at the colloseum a lot in edwardsvill, IL. I would love to see this team get serious again and im really interested in joining the team.

that's cool. when i was captain in 2005, i remember having some practices over at colosseum. we even had one of the midwest xball events there. good times, sad to see that place gone.

talk to c-dub about the tournament team. i'm not exactly sure what they're competing in nowadays.

yeah, about that...

we're just waiting until we get enough people who feel like playing a tournament on more or less the same weekend. if you're interested in jumping in at practice or finding out about tournaments and such, send a private message to "dgallaher" (without the quotes) and he can give you access to the hidden team forums. if there's going to be practice this weekend, there should be a thread up in the next day or two.

the colloseum was epic. i loved that place. they got some new fields goin on down there that would be good to check out.

on a second note, is there a place to buy paintball stuff around here? im gna need a new tank, hopper, and mask for sure. im gna be rockin the Shocker

I don't know of any stores around. But post up in the classifieds if your looking for something cuz a lot of guys has stuff to sell... I have an extra pair of e vents if you want to take a look.

Im lookin for a Vlocity Jr. anyone kno a good place to get one?
Also, what do people have for tanks at a good price

yeah, and i still don't have that tank of mine back. might wait a little while and see if i can get a new crossfire tank with one of their new regs already installed, otherwise i'm just going to pick one up from compulsive or something.

I'd love to play, but unless they allow staff, or I can use someone's I-Card, I'm SOL for all NCPA stuff, I'd be game for NPPL/PSP though. Bob, you still got my DM4?

they've all but disappeared, home and shop are both pretty well empty from what other people in the area have said.
