It's getting warmer out, and the snow is melting, which means it's time to get out and play paintball! Next Saturday, March 13th, we're going to be heading out to Sudden Impact Paintball for a wearing of the green / St. Patrick's Day themed event. Just like last time, the cost will be $30 for entry, rental equipment, a bag of 500 paintballs, and lunch, as well as entry to a prize drawing that will be taking place later in the day. Long pants and long sleeves are highly recommended, and make sure it's nothing you don't mind getting dirty. Also, bring a change of clothes or something clean to sit on so you don't make a mess of your driver's car.
The plan is to leave campus at 9:00am that morning, and we'll be meeting at the parking lot at Lincoln and Oregon beforehand to figure out rides. If anyone who is interested in coming has a car, we'd greatly appreciate it if you'd be willing to drive. We're always in need of ride space, and if we end up with more cars than we need, there's no problem leaving your car in that lot for the day. For those without cars, it's encouraged that you throw your driver a few dollars for gas.
I'd like to give the field an estimate of how many people we're going to be bringing by the middle of next week, so if you could let me know by next Wednesday if you're planning on going, that would make his life a lot easier. You can contact me by email (cwweber2@uiuc.edu), or via the forums. Please include how many people you're bringing (bring friends- the more, the merrier) and whether or not you're able to drive (and how many open seats you'll have).
See you on the field!
Chris
